ABSTRACT

Together with developments in techniques of scoliosis surgery, there have been significant developments in anaesthesia and analgesia techniques for this surgery. These are primarily due to the application of short-term infusions of intravenous anaesthetics without using neuromuscular blockers. These, in conjunction with neuromonitorisation, aids the determination of early surgical complications. Therefore, a collection is presented here related to this subject in the light of contemporary information and applications.
